Summer 2017: More rules and restrictions for the touristic rent in Ibiza could be possible.
The new law, if and when will it be established by the local Parliament, could state more restrictions for renting apartments to the tourists and also stronger sanctions (from 20000 till 40000 euros).
The news was published on the daily Diario De Ibiza (read here) and Periodico de Ibiza (read here).
Now we have to wait what really will happen, but this is a strong signal against the unlegal tourist rent of apartment.
