Pikes Ibiza has already raised 600k euros for charity!

This is fantastic news: Pikes Ibiza has already raised  600k euros for charity during the summer of 2026!

Andy McKay, soul of Pikes Ibiza, wrote this amazing post on Facebook:”32 years in the entertainment business in Ibiza and if I am honest with myself, for most of that time we took more than we gave. Manumission, Ibiza Rocks, all of it. We created the ingredients for joy, and I am proud of that, but the island gave us more than we ever gave back and it has taken me until 55 to see that with real clarity.

A couple of years ago I started measuring something inside our companies that I call social credit. It is one simple question — do we do more good than harm in Ibiza? For years the honest answer was probably not. My aim now is to get to net zero and then to spend whatever working years I have left in credit with this island.
Today I can share numbers that means more to me than any commercial result we have ever had.
Our local charity partners have now raised over 600,000 euros at Pikes Ibiza this season. That is already past their total for the whole of last season, with almost three months still to go.
I want to be careful with the wording here because the credit belongs where it belongs. We don’t raise this money. Our amazing customers give it, directly to the wonderful local charities, who collect it themselves with their own volunteers at our door every night of our season. All we do is build the platform and get out of the way. Our customers do the rest and they have shown night after night that the people who love this island are also people who give to it.
So far this year they have given roughly:
130,000 euros to Fundación Conciencia, supporting vulnerable families and children on the island.
120,000 euros to Apfem Ibiza, mental health support for Ibiza and Formentera.
110,000 euros to Afaef Ibiza, caring for Alzheimer’s sufferers and their families.
90,000 euros to AEMIF Asociación Esclerosis Múltiple Ibiza y Formentera, supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
75,000 euros to Ibiza y Formentera contra el Cancer, the local fight against cancer.
33,000 euros to Proyecto Juntos, bringing comfort to hospitalised children.
24,000 euros to Carmen Aspanob Ibiza, supporting families of children with cancer in the Balearics.
9,000 euros to Care 4 Cats, looking after the island’s street cats.
We have also quietly started bringing the same idea to 528. Early days, but it works.
The target now is to pass 1 million euros this season. Raised for this island, by the people who love it.
I guess my point is that this is what social credit looks like in practice and it is only the start. To everyone who has tapped a card at our door this season, thank you. The ledger is turning thanks to our incredible customers.”
On behalf of the Ibiza by night community, we’d like to congratulate Andy, the friends of Pikes, and the donors on this fantastic achievement. I hope it inspires other organizations in Ibiza to continue to provide greater support to organizations that support people and animals with disabilities on the island. Congratulations, Pikes!
