MANUMISSION presents “Le Weekend”!

Finally, Manumission is back in Ibiza, and presents “Le Weekend”.

Sfrom September 25-27, 2026, the iconic Ibiza party comes back for a must-attend weekend!

Manumission  media team said:”  The legendary Ibiza institution brings the world of the soon to be released book “The Motel: High Times in 90s Ibiza” to life for an unforgettable night at 528 (Sat) and lots of spicy surprises across the weekend (Fri to Sun) at multiple iconic venues.

Manumission has unveiled the concept for its long-awaited return to Ibiza, transforming 528 into a living recreation of the summer of 1998 for one extraordinary day and night on Saturday 26 September.

The event forms the centrepiece of Le Weekend MANUMISSION, a weekend-long Friday to Sunday celebration spanning 528 Ibiza, Pikes Ibiza and Ibiza Rocks Bar, formerly Bar M, the much-loved beachfront base of Manumission throughout the 1990s.

Destined to be “The Party of a Decade”, the event will transform every corner of the spectacular festival-style outdoor and indoor venue into a theatrical playground of music, performance, art, mischief, drag queens and world class dancers, all  inspired by one of the most influential periods in Ibiza’s history. At the heart of the experience  is ‘The Motel: High Times in 90s Ibiza’, the new book from Claire Manumission. Drawing inspiration directly from its delicious pages, the 528 Ibiza experience transforms stories, characters, locations and myths from the book into a real-world immersive adventure, inviting guests to read the story before stepping inside it.

Few events have shaped Ibiza culture like Manumission. Born in Manchester before becoming the defining party of Ibiza’s golden era, it blurred the lines between clubbing, theatre, performance art and spectacle, becoming one of the most influential movements in the island’s history. Now, decades later, that spirit returns as guests are invited to explore a series of tantalising worlds spread across the entire 528 Ibiza site on the Saturday and beyond.

At the centre of the experience sits The Manumission Motel Stage, rising from the Park in all her neon-soaked glory. Part art installation, part fever dream, the Motel will once again become home to London’s dance elite, daring performers, cinematic soundscapes and unexpected moments around every turn. Organisers are already teasing a mystery headline performance, asking one question: Who is the killer headliner? Deep within the Forest, the Bedroom Bondage à la Japonaise Stage offers a hidden world of intrique and temptation, hosted by a mystery superstar and a fierce cast of femme fatale  artists and performers.

Elsewhere, Hellfire in the Hong Kong Hot Tub takes over the Forbidden Garden. A steamy homage to the legendary Alfredo, the stage blends Detroit techno and Balearic ecstasy with Giji drag queens, go-go boys, cold showers and hot beats. The notorious Insane Asylum returns as Manumission’s infamous backroom hangout, a gathering place for outlaws, sex queens, party visionaries and superstar turntablists.Guests venturing into The Twilight Zone will discover a labyrinth of abandoned rooms, forgotten memories and not-to-be-forgotten dreams, accompanied by original Manumission Manchester DJs Debbie and Patricia, sharing their eclectic collection of musical treasures.

Meanwhile, Le Théâtre Pink Pussy sees early 1990s New York collide with Ibiza 1998. For six extraordinary hours, The Godfather takes control of a theatrical fantasy set within the boudoir of an elite squad of NYC strippers known as The Pink Pussies. Expect pink pyjamas, baby dolls, house music history and pure downtown decadence.

Paying tribute to Manumission’s origins in Manchester’s Gay Village, Roger More’s Dark Room promises a journey into the heart of darkness, celebrating the freedom, rebellion and self-expression that have always defined the Manumission spirit. Hidden away at the end of a baby pink graffiti-tagged corridor, Room 10 returns with a waterbed, a sunken bath, a beatbox and some of the world’s most badly behaved DJs.

Pure, uncut Motel madness. “The Motel isn’t simply a book, it’s a doorway into a world,” say Mike and Claire Manumission. “We’re inviting people to read the story first, then step inside it. Every room, every stage and every character at 528 and beyond draws inspiration from the book. It’s the closest thing we’ve ever created to walking into the heart of Manumission itself.”

Running from 17:00 until 5:00am  at 528, guests will spend twelve hours journeying, indulging  and revelling through the world of Manumission moving between stages, performances and immersive environments as day turns into night.

And in a detail that Manumission devotees will devour, tickets have been set at €98 (including booking fee), the exact equivalent of the peseta admission fee paid by clubbers during the party’s legendary 1990s run. Alongside the enticing environments, guests can expect a soundtrack spanning house, Detroit techno, Balearic classics and the sounds that defined Ibiza’s most revolutionary era, delivered by a line-up of DJs, performers and special guest clues to be dropped in the coming weeks. ‘To add to their classic no camera policy, despite having some of the most highly regarded DJs in the world, Manumission will revert to their no announcement policy and will not be revealing the full DJ line-up.

The response has already been extraordinary, with the first ticket release selling out in under two minutes and demand continuing to build as clubbers from across Europe prepare for the return of one of Ibiza’s most iconic institutions.

For one weekend only, Le Weekend MANUMISSION invites guests to step back into the summer of 1998 and experience the party that changed EVERYTHING.  First, read The Motel. Then step inside it. Welcome to the party of the decade people.  25th to 27th September Ibiza….here we go.
