IMS Ibiza 2026 was simply amazing! Here you have a recap.
IMS 2026 media team said.”Three days of ideas, energy and exchange
Across three days, IMS Ibiza 2026, in partnership with AlphaTheta brought together 264 speakers across 149 sessions and events, spanning five stages and welcoming over 2,100 delegates from 64 countries around the world.
Hosted by Jaguar, Katie Knight and Pete Tong, the programme explored the this year’s theme, Reclaim the Dancefloor, sparking important conversations around culture, AI, community, wellbeing, inclusion, and the future of the dancefloor itself. Across the week, delegates explored how we protect what makes dancefloors special while rethinking how they can evolve for a new generation. From safer spaces and broader representation to fresh ideas, new technology and sustainable growth, the dialogue made one thing clear: reclaiming the dancefloor is not about looking back, but about building what comes next. That dialogue doesn’t end here.
The Brave Space, presented by HE.SHE.THEY., centered conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion; The Art of Areté, presented by AlphaTheta, focused on health, wellbeing and recovery; and IMS Academy, presented by Pete Tong DJ Academy and AlphaTheta, supported the development of the next generation of artists and talent.
Keep an eye on our socials as we roll out more standout moments from this year’s Summit in the days ahead. We’ll be sharing the conversations, energy and memories that made IMS Ibiza 2026 so special.
Now we want to see IMS Ibiza through your lens. If you captured moments from the week, tag us in your photos and videos across social media so we can relive the best bits with you.”
Here you have some highlights from the final day of IMS Ibiza 2026:
“The next era of curation and connection
On the Summit Stage – Indoor, the day opened with a look at how music is discovered, shared and experienced, as Apple Music’s Stephen Campbell and Tim Sweeney joined artist Eliza Rose, Attention Management’s Iain Watt and The Warehouse Project’s Mark Abbott, to explore the evolving role of DJ mixes as both a creative medium and a global cultural connector.
Legacy, independence, and enduring scenes
That thread continued with a celebration of 30 Years of Hospital Records, as co-founder Chris Goss joined artists Fabio, DJ Ron, Gabriella Bongo and Hoax to reflect on building and sustaining one of drum & bass’s most influential independent labels, and what longevity looks like in an ever-changing landscape.
Closing keynote: Sister Bliss
The summit closed on the Indoor stage with Sister Bliss of Faithless in conversation with summit co-host Jaguar, reflecting on a career that helped shape the emotional and cultural language of electronic music, and what that legacy means for the next generation navigating a rapidly evolving industry.
She later returned to the stage with Faithless Sound System, headlining IMS Dalt Vila on one of the most iconic dancefloors in the world.
Culture, community and global movement
Across The Brave Space, presented by HE.SHE.THEY. conversations focused on mental health, global networks and equity, with contributors exploring how the industry supports its people and builds more inclusive, sustainable communities.
The next generation takes centre stage
On the Summit Stage – Outdoor, the focus turned firmly to what comes next. The IMS Accelerator, presented with KOR Protocol, spotlighted emerging start-ups pushing the boundaries of music and technology, while the Future Talent Awards crowned the next wave of artists emerging from the Pete Tong DJ Academy.
Conversations around artist development continued with Meet Team Josh Baker, offering insight into a new model of career-building rooted in community, trust and long-term thinking, alongside sessions exploring the rise of NEXUP led by Max Dean and the future of Afro electronic music with voices including Culoe De Song, MoBlack and PHODII.
The future in motion
At IMS Academy, presented by Pete Tong DJ Academy and AlphaTheta, the final day brought together technology, creativity and career-building.
