Ready for Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day?

Ibiza Inclusion Events and Hï Ibiza come together on May 19 to present the III Edition of Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day, the first 100% inclusive catwalk in the world, which is committed to giving visibility to people with functional diversity and the most vulnerable groups of the island to, with this collaboration, sensitize and educate society about the gap in rights and possibilities that still exist today.

Since this integrating movement was born in Ibiza in 2019, Ibiza Inclusion has become the annual international catwalk of reference, with a presence in other destinations such as Córdoba, after the presentation of the inclusion Tour, or in Valencia, Mallorca, Málaga or Miami soon.

This new edition on the island will take place at Hï Ibiza, the most technologically advanced club and recognized as the best club in the world by the specialized magazine Dj Mag in 2022, for its contribution to a new era of global club culture through its continuous innovation, in order to unite fashion, live music, technology and avant-garde while supporting, among other social initiatives, major events such as Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day.

Since it opened its doors in 2017, Hï Ibiza has been consolidating itself as a reference club on the island and worldwide, receiving thousands of people, coming from all corners of the world attracted by the excellence of its musical programming with artists and residences first class in its two spectacular rooms equipped with the most advanced audiovisual technology, its exclusive outdoor open air areas and unique spaces in the world such as its unisex bathroom with a DJ booth.

Hï Ibiza, prepares all the details to celebrate the III Edition of Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day on May 19, the entire proceeds will be donated in favor of ADDIF, the Adapted Sports Association of Ibiza and Formentera. Tickets will be limited until full capacity is reached, but a donation account will also be set up for those people or entities that still cannot attend in person, and wish to selflessly contribute with their donations.

Yann Pissenem, founder and CEO of Hï Ibiza comments: “The union of fashion and music, as a universal language, promotes freedom, diversity and integration. These are some of the fundamental values ​​and pillars that Hï Ibiza represents, which is why we are really proud to open our doors in this third edition of Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day, thus supporting the work of raising awareness and awareness on our island”.

In this solidarity event, which seeks to demonstrate the beauty of diversity through fashion, in addition to the creations of great designers, there will be music, audiovisual art, and relevant personalities from the world of fashion, culture and communication will attend, such as the godmother of this movement, the journalist and psychologist Irene Villa, who will also act as master of ceremonies during the catwalk.

The international singer Rebeka Brown will also be present, completing the experience of those attending this charity event that seeks to excite the public and demonstrate that the only barriers are in the eyes of the people who build them.

Among the participating designers we find the creations of some of the main names on the island, as well as invited professionals from the rest of the national territory such as: Trinidades Ibiza, Origens Pomar, Alfonso Sánchez, Art School of Ibiza and Formentera, Etikology, Lina Rojas, Dark Ibiza, José Perea or Delfina Bianco.

The fashion expert and benchmark for plus-size modeling in our country, Raquel Villadiego, or the international model Krys Pasiecznik, are some of the personalities who will parade with the pieces of this ten designers accompanied by eleven models of different capacities and ages of ADDIF, Adapted Sports Association of Ibiza and Formentera that is committed to the inclusion of people with functional diversity. All of them will have the leading cosmetics brand, K89, which will provide hairdressing and makeup support to the participants throughout the show.

The catwalk will once again bring together in a hymn to equality and integration, these professionals who lead movements against bullying and curvy fashion with ADDIF models with Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, different types of intellectual disability and syndromes Less known such as, for example, Weaver syndrome, as occurred in the two previous editions of Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day and in the I Edition of Córdoba Inclusion Fashion Day.

The president of ADDIF, Myriam Martín affirms: “Both for the boys and girls of ADDIF and for the association, participating in the Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day at Hï Ibiza is an unforgettable experience, a dream that they would never have imagined achieving, full of symbolism. Together we are not only breaking down one more barrier, but what we are achieving through fashion is gaining a new space for full inclusion in society, to which our models have quickly adapted with camaraderie, empathy and solidarity. In this line, the CEOs of Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day, Enrique Villena and Emma Torres conclude: “We are very happy to be able to count on the entire human and professional team of Hï Ibiza, which will surely make the merger between both parties perfect assuming one more step in social inclusion led by Ibiza” – explains the businessman and model, Enrique Villena; to which Emma Torres, educational psychologist and therapeutic educator, Miss Empress Universe 2018, and who also has a 5-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome, adds – “For us it is a pleasure to be able to go hand in hand with Hï Ibiza in this III Edition of Ibiza Inclusion Fashion Day to ensure that our movement in favor of inclusion goes around the world and that more and more people join this project, because inclusion is everyone’s right and we all have the right to be accepted and included in society.”

Throughout 2023 this solidarity movement, which was born as an inclusive fashion catwalk, will star in a documentary directed by Luis Calero. The film, which is already being shot, has other renowned names such as Jesús Solla, director of Photography and Arantzazu Fuertes, as production manager. This documentary will also have a version in French, to be broadcast in France, which will star French actress Marie Tikova.
