Grammy-winning dance music pioneer David Guetta has recorded the latest DJ Mix in the ‘Live at Ushuaïa Ibiza’ series for Apple Music. The unique mix, which arrives on December 9th, was recorded live at Guetta’s long standing F*** Me I’m Famous! residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza in the summer of 2022 using Dolby Atmos’s ground-breaking immersive audio technology.
After more than 20 years, David Guetta’s legendary F*** Me I’m Famous! party at Ushuaïa Ibiza continues to be the most recognisable brand on the White Isle with the freshest soundtrack to match. Now, for the first time ever, fans can recreate the virtual sensation of being lost in David’s music, exactly as it would sound from the heart of Ushuaïa Ibiza’s dance floor. The much-anticipated mix was captured live on September 19th, 2022 and is the first Ushuaïa Ibiza live mix that’s available to experience in Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos.
To capture the magical ambiance and unique feel of a F*** Me I’m Famous! party at Ushuaïa Ibiza, 13 microphones were placed at key points around the venue. The recording was then mixed using Dolby Atmos technology and a multi-speaker playback system that enables you to not only enjoy but almost feel the dynamic sound all around you. With swirling vocals, sweeping bass, and a wall of sound and effects from all directions, this rich and authentic sensory experience will transport listeners to the iconic Ushuaïa Ibiza dancefloor as soon as they hit play.
