This is the announcement:” #CabinFever – Sunday Vinyl Session 024: This week’s show is about the sound of the New Beat of Belgium and Frankfurt with some Balearic Beats thrown in. Respect to Paul Oakenfold and crew at Spectrum, Monday nights at Heaven, Danny Rampling at Shoom and Nicky Holloway’s The Trip: these were some of the clubs pioneering these sounds. It was a great time for music and clubs, people dancing with open minds and free spirits. If you were there, you know what it was like! I really enjoyed this time, so it’s extra special for me to share this music. The memories will come flooding back, so many dancefloors filled with happy smiling people.
