Defected Ibiza 2017: the closing party!

Defected Ibiza it’s ready for the closing party.

The event will take place at EDEN IBIZA October 1st, so save the date.

Don’t forget: the final event will cost just 25 euros!

SIMON DUNMORE, boss of Defected said:“This summer has further established Defected’s long term reputation in Ibiza. Our San An residency at Eden, the music, the vibe and dancefloor reaction have been so real, it has exceeded our expectations. I really need to thank all the DJs that played for us, the workers that spread the word and the clubbers that brought nothing but positivity from the moment they walked through the doors. This year is up there with the best we have been involved in over the last 15 years.”

The organizers said:”After four months of incredible Defected Ibiza parties at Eden, stirring San Antonio’s sleeping giant with week on week of the world’s best house DJs, the huge closing party has nearly arrived. Sunday nights with Defected have seen surprise B2B appearances, unforgettable headline sets from well-loved house superstars and roadblocks of likeminded house music lovers queuing for their best night in San Antonio. While questions are raised over the future of Ibiza’s clubbing culture, Defected Ibiza has proved that by keeping in touch with its fan base and booking the artists that young clubbers really want to see, a night with great DJs, great music and great crowds can thrive.     For just €25, see ten of this summer’s foremost house DJs who have helped make this season so special for Defected. The label’s much-loved residents Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine and Franky Rizardo top the billing, rounding up a summer that has seen top-charting records and international touring careers go from strength to strength for all three artists. New signing Low Steppa will be bringing the bass-heavy action alongside label boss Simon Dunmore who would never miss an Ibiza send-off. Returning to Eden are Waifs & Strays, who delivered a blinding warm-up for Miguel Campbell earlier in the season, with 2017 resident Jacky bringing the energy, Manchester duo System2 and Sharples following up his two top sets with one final showdown.

The closing would not be complete without the hitmakers of the season, CamelPhat, appearing as very special guests. CamelPhat’s ‘Cola’, undoubtedly one of the most addictive records of 2017, has become a defining musical moment of the year and Defected is extremely proud to welcome them back to see the season off properly.”
